This 8-track project explores a minimalist production approach, where the PULSAR-23 and LYRA-8 instruments are the focal points. My role was to mediate their interaction, presenting the sounds in their raw, unaltered state with minimal manipulation where possible. Volume adjustments and subtractive-EQ were employed to sculpt space and placement within the arrangement and mix. The creative process involved capturing multiple layers as part of a larger sonic tapestry, later unravelling these layers to reveal moments of interaction and tension. The arrangements emerged organically, leading to the selection of these tracks. Rather than a focus on enjoying the music, listeners are invited to connect with the experimental nature of the compositions and engage with the underlying interplay between the instruments, attempting to untangle the layers of interaction themselves.
